The definitive version has to be by Billie Holiday ; but this arrangement ; based on the Streisand version ; again works great as a Pianotrak. The secret to nailing this version is not to "sing" the song as such but to try to see yourself in the role - don't drag the verses out! It all works wonderfully once you've got the feel right. As a quick guide ; it's the main theme first ; then the refrain (It's cost me a lot..." ) ; then a key change and into a slower bluesy tempo for the main theme again!!
